Members of SVA
SVA was established in 2002. We were created by, and have the ongoing support of, some of Australia’s most well-known non-profit and philanthropic organisations. SVA members are the guardians of the underlying mission and values of SVA for the benefit of its stakeholders. SVA members can appoint and remove Directors.

First Nations Council
The First Nations Council has been established as an advisory Council of the Board of SVA to provide leadership, cultural knowledge and sector expertise to inform best practice across all areas of SVA’s operations.
The purpose of the First Nations Council is to provide the necessary advice, leadership and direction to ensure that all areas of SVA’s operations are working appropriately, respectfully, in culturally competent and informed ways with First Nations peoples, communities and organisations. This includes both SVA’s internal work culture and set of external relationships and partnerships.
