There is so much unrecognised and undervalued opportunity across organisations dedicated to alleviating disadvantage. At SVA, I am fortunate enough to work with a diverse and talented team to help unlock the good created by these organisations and the wider social sector.
Alex is a Manager is the Consulting team, with vast experience across the social sector providing strategic and economic advice.
At SVA, Alex has worked with a range of organisations to help deliver impact. He has expertise in strategy development, business cases, data analysis and outcomes management, this includes developing a needs analysis and business case for a culturally safe Drug and Alcohol Centre in the Riverina. Alex worked in partnership with the peak representative body for First Nations health and wellbeing in Victoria to forecast their future service and workforce demand, to support workforce planning and funding submissions, with lessons from this work published in our Quarterly magazine.
Prior to SVA, Alex worked at the NSW Office of Social Impact Investment helping to finance innovative social programs and grow the wider impact investing market. He was previously at Urbis, an economic consultancy, providing robust, evidence-based analysis and advice to public and private sector clients on policies, programs and investments. Alex has also spent time working in the UK Government, developing economic policy at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from the University of Sydney.
