Hanna Cihal
Principal, Consulting (NSW)

It’s a privilege to work on projects that matter, with people committed to making a difference. I am constantly inspired by the work that our clients do to create to a better Australia and I love being able to contribute to their impact.
Hanna is Principal in the Consulting team and brings diverse professional experience spanning urban planning, human services, education and international development.
Having joined SVA in 2017, Hanna has supported a range of clients, from small non-profits to large service providers to local, state and federal government departments. She has played key roles on large program reviews, such as the evaluation of the NSW Targeted Earlier Intervention program and the Review of Sexual Violence and Domestic and Family Violence Crisis Response Services in the ACT. She has also supported organisations to develop forward-looking strategies, for example, the Macquarie Group Foundation’s Future Grantmaking Strategy. In addition, Hanna has a passion for supporting social enterprises and community organisations to better understand their impact; some examples of her work in this space include developing the First Nations Foundation Impact Report and the Little BIG Foundation Social Impact Report.
Before joining SVA, Hanna worked in both the public and private sector, including roles as a consultant within EY’s Advisory team, a monitoring and evaluation advisor for the Government of Samoa’s Ministry of Education and a program officer with Transport for NSW.
