Harvey Jaques Mitchell
Analyst, Consulting (VIC)

At SVA, I am granted the opportunity to work with organisations that are creating real and lasting social change across the country. Being able to contribute to this impact every day while surrounded by a passionate team is a real privilege.
Harvey is an Analyst in the Consulting team, with experience in outcomes management, evaluation, strategy development and community consultation.
Over his time at SVA, Harvey has worked on a range of projects with non-profits, for-profits, government agencies, and Aboriginal-controlled organisations, to help measure and accelerate their social impact across the country. Notable projects include: developing an organisational strategy for a peak body in WA, delivering a review of a joint management plan between the Victorian Government and a Traditional Owner land management board, and developing an outcomes framework for a community legal centre at the forefront of providing specialist and gender-responsive legal services to women in Victoria.
Prior to joining SVA on a permanent basis, Harvey worked as an intern within the Policy and Advocacy team. Harvey is proud of his Whadjuk Noongar heritage and particularly passionate about achieving equal opportunity and self-determination for First Nations people, supporting systematic change to Australia’s justice system.
Harvey holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Criminology and Philosophy from the University of Melbourne.
