Increasing inclusion is fundamental to reducing social disadvantage, and requires a systemic shift in the way our economy and society function in Australia. Social Ventures Australia tackles this problem from different angles, finding new ways for people and organisations to come together to influence, learn, innovate, and take action.

Kate is a Manager, Consulting at Social Ventures Australia (SVA), and has worked on a variety of program design, program evaluation and outcomes management projects for clients including the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency, Court Services Victoria, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Commonwealth Bank.

Kate has previously held a range of advisory roles spanning the media, government, international development and local non-profit sectors. Most recently, Kate worked as an advisor Good Shepherd Microfinance delivering program design and advisory services to internal teams and external organisations focusing on enabling financial wellbeing and inclusion, with a particular focus on supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

Kate holds a Masters by research that was supported by a scholarship from the Co-operative Research Centre for Remote Economic Participation (CRC-REP) hosted by Ninti One. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Economics, a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Certificate in International Development.
