Our Policy and Advocacy work supports Social Ventures Australia by identifying opportunities for influence, researching and crafting briefs and submissions, and engaging stakeholders alongside our partners to help create policy solutions to inequality.

Our successes are SVA’s successes – our work, including our series of perspective papers on key SVA expert areas, are often instrumental in making sure projects hit the ground running with a clear understanding on policy landscapes, key stakeholders, and opportunities to drive change.

Ahead of the federal budget scheduled for March 25, the Economic Inclusion Advisory Committee (EIAC) has published ten recommendations to enhance economic inclusion and reduce disadvantage around Australia. Key among them is a call supported by SVA research to improve the way victim survivors of family and domestic violence are assisted by the social security payments system.
